Provider of Chester dental practice faces £12,000 bill for registration failures



A dental provider which failed to register its Chester city centre practice has been fined £12,000 by the Care Quality Commission. Northgate Dental Health Practice was one of three of Integrated Dental Holdings Group’s clinics which carried regulated activities, treatment of disease, disorder or injury, surgical procedures and diagnostic screenings procedures without the appropriate registration since early 2015 as required by law. The Care Quality Commission issued fixed penalty notices totalling £12,000 to the Northgate Street surgery, Ormesby Dental Practice Partnership in Middlesbrough and White House Dental Practice Partnership in Leicestershire on December 15. All three practices are now registered correctly.
